About ITC
Our principal consultants are seasoned professionals with many years of experience.   We have a record of innovative achievement in product development and imaging technology.  We have managed hundreds of projects and can provide a wide range of technical and management services.  Our multi-disciplinary skills include optical engineering and engineering physics.  We have worked on a range of applications from consumer products and precision instruments to automation and controls.  We produce lab models, prototypes, customized systems, and pre-production products.  We provide feasibility studies, venture evaluations, and technical assessments.  We have even delivered seminars on the development process and the art of innovation.   We are prepared to offer assistance from strategy to implementation, and from concept to full production.

We have been in business since 1984 and our role and operations have changed with the times.   Technology acquisitions and out-sourced production, are more common.   Companies are smaller, budgets are tighter, and re-investment is limited.  But to remain competitive, industry must continue developing new products, markets, and production methods.  We can help meet that challenge and do it for a reasonable cost.  Our "facilities" are scattered across the country, because we work as a "virtual" company with a network of independent associates.  Our operating overhead is low because we assemble teams to suit each contract.  These consultants work as partners or sub-contractors, and are coordinated by the senior project manager.  In addition, our network includes a number of small companies and job shops that can supply custom components for lab models or prototypes.  In this way, our resouces can be expanded to support a comprehensive project or minimized to handle preparatory tasks.  To meet a short-term or discrete objective, ITC can provide the capability.  We can also provide long term engineering support at a lower cost than an "in-house" staff.   We have the option to spread the workload without adding to the burden of benefits, facilities, and management overhead.  In general, ITC can offer flexible, versatile, competent, and experienced assistance at competitive rates.

Consulting Agreements
There is no charge for inquiries and preliminary discussions.  Most projects proceed in stages with the initial effort confined to analysis, planning, and preparation.  This can include a preliminary proposal that defines the objectives, options, and estimated costs.  Whether or not an expanded proposal is required, we can start with a statement of work and a simple purchase order.  Complex contracts are not required unless there is a question of ownership or liability involved.  ITC regards all privileged information as confidential and our labor rates are competitive.  We do what is necessary and sufficient to meet the objectives.  Ask us how we can help.
